The Power of Props: workshop with Amy Jane Banfield

Come dive deeper into your practice with the use of props! This two-hour workshop is open and welcoming to all levels, from the first-time yogi to those who have been practicing for decades. The Power of Props is for everybody and every body. We will be using blocks, straps and even your mat! In addition, there will be a few special tips/demonstrations on the usage of blankets, bolsters & sandbags.

The Power of Props will cover the six motions of the spine (extension, lateral opening, twisting, back-bending, key inversions, and forward folding) and how to integrate the usage of props. Come discover, experiment and enjoy a fresh approach to your practice. 

Bring a notebook, pencil, mat, a Mexican blanket or two (optional) & an open mind!

The room will be kept at a warm 80 degrees.
